Our Happy Students
I went to Gandaki Boarding School as a scholarship student in 2007( 2064 BS) and completed my School Leaving Certificate (SLC) from there in 2014 (2070 BS). I then went to the UK to pursue A-Level under a full scholarship from Pestalozzi International Village Trust before going to Duke University in the USA as a University Scholar funded by Melinda Gates. My seven years at Gandaki are by far the most enriching years of my life. I found my purpose - the vocation to create a opportunities in my society and country -at Gandaki. Altogether, my GBS experience is the tipping point of my life. Currently: Duke University, USA Rutgers University, Germany (Summer 2019) Oxford University, UK (Summer/Fall 2019)
“GBS is a place that gives you myriad ways to explore; Either it be your life or the rest. If you want to study it, if you want to practice it, if you want to find other people to create it with, you can do it. If you don’t see the thing that exists, you can build it yourself or find others to build it with. I am extremely grateful to Gandaki for giving me the life I have today. I’ve developed strong bond across generations and have learned so much from my peers and from those who are older. This is a community steeped in good values, truth, and empathy that wants to create a greater sense of inclusion and belonging. I have conviction we can work on this together to live up with KNOWLEDGE-CHARACTER-SERVICE and turn this community to a culture.” Microsoft Student Partner 2017 to 2019 Vice Secretary at EGBOSA (2018 - ) Notable Recognitions: Humanitarian Ambassador at GGA (2018) Junior Scientist at MoE (2014)
